What woman doesn't love accessories? I've always been pretty simple in the way I dress and appreciate when I can find understated, simple accessories that don't have logos plastered all over them. This week's Small Business Spotlight, Abby Maddy Designs, delivers just that. If you are looking for affordable, handmade accessories made by a fellow mama, you are going to want to check them out!
I think my favorite items on the entire website are these keyfobs. They are BRILLIANT. There are few things that drive me more crazy than when I walk up to my door, arms full of bags, toddler on my hip, and I cannot find my keys in my black hole of a purse. Even if I go out of my way to put my keys on the top of my purse before I get out of the car, the evil gremlin who lives at the bottom of my bag manages to pull them back down into his hidden lair. It's infuriating. Abby Maddy Desgins has thankfully created a way to preserve a small part of my sanity with these keyfobs. They come in a variety of fun colors and designs and are super affordable.
I am embarassed to admit this, but I do not own a clutch. Crazy, right? I always kick myself when I go to a wedding or event and I have to lug around my bulky purse. Abby Maddy Designs makes a variety of simple but stylish clutches. I am particularly obssessed with the one pictured above.
I'm a firm believer that no wardrobe is complete without a crossbody bag. These things are a must for Farmer's Markets, Street Fairs, Festivals, and pretty much any event where you would like to keep your hands free so you can chase after a toddler on a sugar (or excitement) high. This awesome bag is the perfect neutral to go with any outfit.
Do you prefer to create your own accessories? That's okay, too! Abby Maddy Designs has adorable swag for sewing enthusiasts. These sweatshirts look oh-so-comfy and warm. Be sure to check out their mugs, too!
I have been trying to teach myself how to sew and am super envious of the mamas who can make these awesome creations. Luckily, Abby Maddy Designs has got me, and people like me, covered with their online sewing course. How cool is that?! As a mom, it is so hard to make time to get out of the house to take sewing lessons. There is nothing more convenient than learning from a professional in the comfort of your own home.
I haven't even covered all of the wonderful accessories that Abby Maddy Designs offers. If you want to see more you will have to check out their website. Also, for teasers on their upcoming Spring/Summer collection, be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
