It's hard to believe that I am already planning a "big boy" room for B! At 18 months, our nursery days are almost over. Luckily, through my obsessive Instragramming, I have discovered a ton of great small businesses to help me create the perfect room for my little man.
I fell in love with the cross pattern when researching quilts and quickly discovered that there is no way we could afford $400+ for a quilt in the size we'd need. Imagine my elation when I stumbled upon Aura, a small business located in Australia. Not only is this set exactly what I was looking for, it is only $168 for a twin. Sold.
This double sided pillowcase is oh-so-appropriate for a toddler's room. We actually have matching I'm So Tired/I'm Not Tired tees from Hello Apparel, so the pillowcase will make a welcome addition to our collection. Plus, it's a steal at $15.
I am slightly obsessed by the prints at Motivated Type. It's too difficult to choose just one so I think we are going to do a gallery wall with some of my favorites including:
I'm also swooning over this Ikea rug. I know, it's not a small business, but as hard as I try I can't shop small for everything.
Now that I have the basics down, I need some help with incorporating pops of color. Please send me some ideas of items or shops that will help complete this room. I'm stuck!
