Easily one of the most engrossing, mesmerizing books I've ever had the pleasure to read. This week's edition (Book 7/52) was the The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami. I don't want to go as far as to call this book a masterpiece but...it was a masterpiece.
For the 4th week (and 6th book) of the 2020 reading challenge I decided to venture into the world of YA literature and finally read fan-favorite Simon vs. The Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. I am SO HAPPY I chose this book.
2020 Reading Challenge Week 3. 5 books down, 47 to go. This week I decided to check the LGBTQ+ author off my Book Bingo and try out Mostly Dead Things. Check out my review below!
4 books down, 48 to go. For week 2 of the 2020 Reading Challenge I decided to get personal and focus on mental health.
2 books down, 50 to go. Week one of the 2020 Reading Challenge began with some guilty pleasures.
2020 is going to be the year of books for me. I LOVE to read. It's my only hobby, really. And this year my goal is to read at least 52 books in 52 weeks. To hold myself accountable, I will be posting what I read each week with a review of the book(s) I finished. I'd love some reading partners! You don't have to have the same goal as me, any goal will do! So who is joining me?! We have a group on Facebook called Wire and Honey Book Club where we share recommendations. Join us there or comment along on our main FB page.
Oh, the joys of being a mom. Particularly, a toddler mom. They are about as rational as Donald Trump being a presidential candidate. Sorry, I had to go there. My kid has had some epic crying fits over the most random of things. Here are my top 10 reasons Brady was crying recently.
What in the world is Wire and Honey? What does it MEAN?! We get that question a lot. A lot, a lot. And while I absolutely LOVE hearing people's guesses of the origin of our name I think it's time to give a little back story of our brand.
