There is one thing that I love more than showcasing small businesses (and thus, encouraging people to shop small) and that is showcasing small businesses that give back. If you are reading this, you know how important it is to us to give back to our community and causes that are near and dear to our heart. It appears that this week's Small Business Spotlight, The Bugaroo Brand, is our kindred spirit in that sense.
I am absolutely in love with The Bugaroo Brand's Love Makes a Family tee. For this special collection, The Bugaroo Brand teamed up with Creative Adoptions in Denver, CO. Through close friends, the faces behind the brand were touched personally by adoption, particularly through the Creative Adoptions agency. As a result, they generously decided to help other families who are going through the adoption process by donating a percentage of every shirt sold to this amazing foundation.
This special collection also features tees for toddlers. My heart melts just thinking about a family who has been formed through adoption rocking these tees proudly together.
The generosity doesn't stop there. Recently, The Bugaroo Brand started outsourcing the production of their shirts through My Smart Shirt. Why is this relevant? Because My Smart Shirt is partnered with SERV International and participates in an awesome Buy a Shirt, Feed a Child program. With every shirt that The Bugaroo Brand buys from My Smart Shirt, SERV International is able to feed a child in remote regions of Africa, the Dominican Republic, and Honduras. As a result, every time you order a shirt from The Bugaroo Brand you are feeding a child! How amazing is that?! Lucky for you, they have a variety of bad ass shirts to choose from. Here are a few of my favorites from their adult line.
As much as I love a good mama tee, most of my wallet is drained these days buying toddler shirts. It will be a sad, sad day for my wallet when I am done shopping their kids' section. Here are a few from my "Brady needs this" list.
Think we are done there? Guess again. My mama always told me never to leave the house without a good accessory. Okay, that's a lie. My mom hardly ever accessorized, but still, everyone loves a cute accessory on a kid. For this reason, you need to check out The Bugaroo Brand's line of scarves and bibdanas.
The craziest part of this blog post is that even though I feel like I featured a million products there are still so many more to check out on their site. You should also follow them on Instagram for the latest access to new products and promotions. Cute clothes for a good cause? I'm sold.
