Welcome to our newest weekly blog series, recipes of the week! We thought it would be fun to reach out to some of our favorite makers in the handmade world to have them share one of their favorite recipes with you. This week, we have the pleasure of learning how to make Blueberry, Honey, and Yogurt Popsicles from Sabrina Stroble of Owllusions.
If you aren't familiar with Owllusions, you should be! This hot mama creates the most gorgeous and whimsical handmade and hand painted creations that will set your bohemian heart on fire. She is also a wife, momma to a toddler, and has another baby girl on the way.
Without further ado, here is Sabrina's recipe for Blueberry, Honey, and Yogurt Popsicles.
So here's something super easy, super simple, and super healthy for that rebellious toddler who refuses to eat healthy. BLUEBERRY, YOGURT, HONEY POPSICLES!
- 2 cups of Blueberries
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 1 tbls of honey
Directions: Place ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Feeling a little adventurous? Throw in some kale or spinach. Pour in popsicle molds. Place in freezer for 4-24 hrs. And BOOM! shove it in their face! They will love it. Perfect for summer and it won't get your kid hyped up on sugar like a crack addict.
Side note* I use all organic only because I like to think I'm a cool hipster, crunchy mom. In reality, it was on sale.
These popsicles look delicious and I can't wait to make some for Brady! We would love to hear if your little dude or lady loves it as much as Sabrina's daugher. Any way to sneak in those fruits and vegetables are a total win at our house!
